Glassman Events are pleased to announce the return to Asia with the launch of a new show in Seoul, South Korea. It is the ﬁrst time the combined exhibition and conference has been held in this fascinating country. It follows the success of two previous Glassman events in Bangkok and Jakarta in 2018 and 2019.
The Glassman event brings together glassmakers with leading technology suppliers. The two-day show, 25th and 26th February 2020, will include a conference that will focus on the latest trends, issues and opportunities in the glassmaking industry.
Mexico is the world’s hub of container glassmaking. The Central American country’s glassmaking sector is thriving thanks to its rich cultural heritage, strategic location and accessible international policies. The country is famous for its diverse beers and spirits, the majority of which are packaged in glass. As a result its glass packaging industry is ﬂourishing. Mexico is home to an array of domestic manufacturers as well as global organisations such as O-I and Heineken. The world’s largest container glass plant is located in Mexico in Piedras Negras on the US Border.
Europe’s largest container glass manufacturers attended the Glassman Europe event in Lyon, France in September and was deemed a great success.
European manufacturers were joined by visitors from glassmaking facilities around Europe.
International experts, glass container manufacturers and businesses that use glass containers gathered in Lyon to discover the latest innovations which included energy efficiency, quality control, packaging, logistics and decorative possibilities.
The Glassman conferences addressed the latest trends in glassmaking and Industry 4.0, and we would like to thank our with high-level speakers for being a compelling reason for the highest level of decision makers within the industry to have attended the event.

Leading companies from the Brazilian glassmaking industry attended Glassman South America on 14-15 May 2019.
Major Brazilian glassmakers including O-I, Verallia, Vidroporto, Nadir Figueiredo, Ambev Vidros, Wheaton Brazil, Schott, Vivix, AGC, Guardian and Vidraria Anchieta were among those to attend. Glassmakers from around South America continent also visited. These included Heinz-Glas of Peru and Cristalerias Toro of Chile.
The two-day event in Sao Paulo, Brazil included an international exhibition and two free to attend conferences.
Exhibitors said they had a successful show and had met the relevant companies. A future venue and date for the next Glassman South America will be announced shortly.
